How disappointing for an artist who has been idolised by the crowds to be forgotten and replaced by others! But however much it eats away at them, and they feel it is unfair, that is how it is – the public is pitiless and looks for novelty. And those they acclaimed are soon replaced by others, and those new ones by other newer ones, unless they know the secret of how to renew the life within them. This law is not valid only for artists, it is valid for everyone. If you can radiate new life each day, new life that is love, light and purity, no one will ever want to replace you, even if you live to be 300. One doesn’t replace the sun. Husbands replace their wives and wives their husbands, on all kinds of pretexts. But the real reason is that each has allowed their life to stagnate. No one seeks to replace beings who radiate life, for life is what everyone needs most.

После восхищения толпы зрителей, какое разочарование для артистов видеть, как их забывают и заменяют другими! Но сколько бы они ни мучились, ни говорили себе, что это несправедливо, это так: публика безжалостна, она ищет новизны, и тем, кому некоторое время назад аплодировали, скоро находят замену, а следующим — ещё более новую замену… Если только они не знают один секрет: быть способными обновлять в себе жизнь. Этот закон действует не только для артистов, он работает для всех. Если вы умеете излучать каждый день новую жизнь, жизнь, которая есть любовь, свет, чистота, вас никогда не захотят заменить, даже если вам триста лет! Солнце не заменяют. Заменяют самые разные виды вещей и людей, но ещё никто никогда не смог заменить Солнце. Мужья меняют своих жён, а жены — мужей, ссылаясь на разного рода причины. Но истинная причина в том, что и те, и другие позволили своей жизни застаиваться. Людей, излучающих жизнь, никто не стремится заменить, так как больше всего нуждаются именно в жизни.

Read yourself. Human beings can be compared to books, books that they themselves are writing. 
Often, it’s just scribbles and gibberish. 
You can find every insanity, every aberration in them. 
Relationships: When two of these books meet and feel attracted to one another, there they are, busy day and night reading one another, but what do they learn from their reading? 
Certainly, humans know many things, but they have still not learned how they should write their own book. 
They are only concerned with creating outside of themselves: they only know how to sculpt, model, draw or write, but always outside themselves; their inner being remains a wasteland.

It is time they became aware that they must concern themselves with writing their own book. 
Then, whenever they meet, they will marvel at being able to read each other’s sublime words, phrases, poems, drawings - the qualities, virtues and gifts they have each worked to develop in themselves.

Overcoming Obstacles

1. You always tend to consider your difficulties as obstacles. 

2. In reality, it is often in difficult conditions that humans have the greatest possibilities for growth, and that is precisely because they are confined...

3. Observe how trees in a forest resolve this problem. In a forest, the trees are so close together, if one of them wants to spread its branches, the others prevent it.

4. So this tree says to itself, ‘These are poor conditions for my development, but I’m going to find a solution’

5. It’s true, it cannot spread its branches horizontally, but there’s nothing to stop it from reaching up to the heights.
In this direction there’s open space, and it no longer encounters any obstacles.

6. It’s the same for human beings...
When they can no longer go forwards, backwards or sideways, the only direction left is upwards; in other words, they must launch themselves in the direction of the spiritual world, for in this direction nothing can stand in the way of your aspirations!

7. Thinking... What is destiny? It is an implacable chain of causes and consequences. But only biological, instinctive life is completely ruled by destiny!

8. Therefore all those who identify with their physical body, whose main goal in life is to seek pleasure, comfort and material possessions are unable to escape the laws of destiny.

9. Whereas those who are conscious of being soul first and foremost, who seek to express the primacy of the spirit in all they do, so as to leave behind traces of light, love and nobleness on earth, increasingly become master of their own destiny.

10. So, that’s clear; on the subject of freedom, there’s not much to discuss or ask oneself: only those who strive daily to put the soul first will escape the grip of destiny and become truly free...

We are bound to meet with difficulties and obstacles.

12. But if you take them too seriously, you will land yourself in inextricable situations, simply because these difficulties and obstacles can only be overcome if you begin by making light of how serious they are.

14. Your true Self is above all of life’s vicissitudes.

15. So, whatever trials you have to face, you can tell yourself, ‘Of course, these events are real; I can’t deny such and such a failure, disappointment or accident .

17. No! because I Am an eternal, immortal spirit, and all this inconvenience is happening to someone else; this is just an illusion, and I’m its spectator.
